Feh, we did our own quarters years ago. And since Nunavut was all new and stuff, they got a twonie.

When are we going to pull our heads out of our asses and get rid of the $1 bill and go to a coin? And incorporate a $2 coin? The money saved by the treasury would be hugh (sorry, no cite.) But in the world of US political correctness (fights over who/what to put on the coin), and countless coin-op machines, we’ll never get a decision.
Just slap G. Washington’s face on the $1 coin, stick Eisenhower or John Adams on the quarter and put Jefferson on the $2. And here’s another idea… Don’t make the damn thing look just like a quarter (S.B. Anthony) or keep the dollar bill in circulation and doom the Sacky (why carry/use the coin when you can keep using the bill?)
The US Mint. Making the simple impossible. I mean, how hard can this stuff be to figure out?
I don’t remember them asking me if they could add color to the $10 bill. Why does everything else need to be debated ad nauseum? We can’t agree on people? Pick animals. Buffalo, bear, eagle, elk.
