Should radio call signs indicate morse code competency?

I am testing for my Tech license tomorrow and thank goodness there is no more morse code requirement. But it got me thinking. Suppose I do want to learn morse. What would you say if the FCC brought back the test and if passed you could append “CW” in front of your region so for example KA0ABC => KACW0ABC to indicate you know morse.

altering call signs would be just confusing. the call signs are dictated by treaty. using the call sign as licensed is is a legal requirement.

you can take part in radio events (nongovernmental) to test your code proficiency and get certificates for that.

do well on the test.

No one who practices CW wants a longer call sign. it makes it that much harder to get through in a pile-up.
