While I would hate to see Great Debates go away, it would be more honest if we took the word “Great” out of the title.
I never visit Great Debates. I like the fact it’s there, so I don’t have to see all the arguments.
No. Great Debates is a good forum for those who like that sort of thing, just like MPSIMS. Debates are fun to read when I have time, and it’s nice to have them all in one forum. And those that don’t wish to read or participate can avoid it. GD serves a purpose.
