What, in your mind, do they want?
They want to establish a caliphate, which won’t happen if they draw more nations into the war against them.
I forced myself to watch the burning video, and it made the beheadings merciful in comparison. I won’t assume they have any goal other than annihilation . . . of anyone in their way, and ultimately themselves. They follow a philosophy of non-existence; it is their goal and their modus operandi.

I made a pit thread about CNN for stating they would not show the video (and I’m fine with that) because it would give ISIS the media exposure they wanted.
But then they went on to talk about it, describing in graphic detail for hours on end!
If you don’t want to give them media attention, don’t show the video and SHUT THE FUCK UP!
