I was also confused by the references to North Korea. I think most of us think preventing North Korea from getting nukes would be a good idea.
Well, after seeing this impressive illustration of the bomb Iran’s about to get, I can certainly understand why Israel’s P.M. is shitting his pants.
That’s some “sooper-doooper-secret-inside-Mossad-intel” you’ve got there, Bibi! You made this this guy look like a rank amateur.
Asshole.
Fool me once, shame on you - try to fool me twice, you present your d@mn evidence.
More cartoons for the masses. Kind of reminds me of bin ladens mountain lair.
The worst part is people actually believe this stuff.
Agreed, I’m not sure where the poster was going with that either. Walls of text are hard to sort anyway.
IMHO, a better example for the poster would be an Israeli submarine laying captured ex-Soviet Bloc mines in the Straits of Hormuz or the Persian Gulf. They’ve quiet submarines and I imagine they’ve captured mines identical to those that would be used by Iran. Altering their torpedo tubes to launch those mines would take some lengthy work though. In any event if it worked, merchant shipping or—ideally—USN warships would hit those mines, Iran would be blamed, (not like it would be the first time that Iran has tried to mine the Gulf) and those diabolical Jews could sit back and laugh as the U.S. turned the Iranian nuclear program to rubble. Along with the effect on world oil prices if the Straits were to be closed for a week to ten days. (Estimate at bottom of cite)
Whether they think they could plant the mines without being observed—not at all a given in a waterway as observed as the Straits—and more importantly, be able to keep the whole thing quiet for the next 75 years or so, is another question. I doubt Israel would choose to take that kind of risk, with those kinds of downsides. But it would be a false flag, if I am reading your definition correctly.
My answer to the OP, as an American, is ‘No, the U.S. should not attack Iran.’
My favorite comment on this so far (from another forum) is “So Wile E. Coyote is Netanyahu’s new Defense Minister?”
It’s from The Daily Show (though not an exact quote).
I’m seeing wide enough variations on the joke (in multiple languages even) that I think that multiple people came up with the Wile E. Coyote comparison.
The New Yorker made it a trending topic with their #BibiBombCaption contest. There’s some funny stuff up on Tweeter.
