This cycle is precisely what has convinced me that WB is a troll, pure and simple. The full cycle is this:

WB suggests we should do something bad to random muslims/arabs/dusky peoples. (Nuke them, insult them, whatever.) In particular, he states that if the Taliban didn’t worry about killing random Americans, we shouldn’t have to worry about killing innocent dusky people. (I say “dusky people” because his bigotry makes no distinction between Afghans in general, Arabs, Muslims, etc.)

People patiently explain why that’s a bad idea, typically using the same argument each time.

WB declares that the has seen the light, and any further criticism of his original position is met with angry declarations that he no longer harbors any grudge against random dusky people, and is only interested in capturing the terrorists, chopping off their chestnuts, and feeding said chestnuts to the hogs.

After the passage of at most a week, WB starts at step 1 again. In effect, he says that sure it was wrong to kill innocent people when the Taliban destroyed the WTC, but surely it’s different now that anthrax has been used.
