I did get more or less the exact scene I wanted out of Season 2. That was good.
Season 3 is looking pretty pointless. I read one of the old Dope threads about S3 as it was airing, and somebody pointed out that you can almost take away an alternate ending from the S2 finale if you want to. Just ignore the last few scenes they tacked on to set up S3. I’m gonna go ahead and watch the rest for kicks, but in my mind, that’s the Real ending.
Although Bellick the gimp is truly fucking priceless, and worth every moment of a shitty third season. That’s really been all I’ve wanted from this show since the first time he appeared. And I heartily disagree with the praise that actor received around here. Until I see him play some other character well enough to wash Bellick out of my mind…
Season one has to be gotten through. Season two is okay. They’re free! Season three is Tina Turner Beyond the Thunderdome bad. Season 4 is back to silly over-the-top fun shenanigans.
