Shouldn't we have a cat forum? Cat poll.

Questions

  1. Should we have a cat forum?
  2. Should people without cat pictures in the posts be banned?
  3. If cat posts where banned, would the message board respond faster?
  4. Would people tolerate any other pet that barfed all the time or sat on their face when sleeping?
  1. Yes.
  2. Yes. There should be a brief grace period to allow posters who meant to upload kitty - er, cat - pictures but hadn’t gotten around to it to do so. Said grace period should not exceed 3-5 days.
  1. Yes.
  2. Possibly. But I for one would tolerate no other pet that stuck its butt in my face while I’m working.

The proper term is kitteh. You’re welcome.

Okay, okaaaay. I know when I’m beaten. I’ll buy that.

That brings up an interesting legal question. Can the board be held liable for cuteness induced head explosions?

Only if intent can be proven.

We should have a Pets forum, not just a Kitties forum. I don’t want to exclude the dog/bird/lizard/fish/horse/whatever people.

As cats are the true rulers, then it follow that all forums are by default “Cat Forums”. The feline overlords will tolerate no less.

  1. Only if we include recipes! (my local Chinese place makes some pretty mean General Tso’s Cat)
  2. Depends.
  3. 2.6
  4. Komodo Dragon?

…not a Feline Fan…

I loathe cats and they know it.

I have had cat owners tell me their cat has never even approached another human being in 10 years, but whenever I enter a room, those creatures from hell immediately come to me, sit on my shoulder, and proceed to fart.

I would be happy to see there is a cat forum - so I don’t have to skip over endless threads about pictures of yet another stupid cat.

  1. Hell yes Tigerella Tidden | This is my wee new liddle tidden cat HRH … | Flickr
(please note this is not a cat, kittie or kitteh - Tidden is the appropriate term)
  2. Have pity on the poor folks without digital cameras - give them 1 warning and proceed with extreme prejudice.
  3. Dunno
  4. Well if you replace “barf” with “poo” then definitely time for a wash | Bellamy bunny making sure his whiskers are… | Flickr

Good luck in that.

When hell freezes over.

When pigs fly.

When I get on “Jeopardy!”.

When people stop saying “hubby,” “veggie,” and “foodie.”

I have both a cat and a dog, and I don’t see why there should be a cat forum if not a dog forum. We really don’t need either, any more than a fish forum or a snake forum.

  6. not all of us have access to digital cameras or camera phones; however, that said, all cat posters should make reasonable effort to provide da pix!

  7. dunnodon’tcare.

  8. scubakittehs don’t barf. :stuck_out_tongue:

No. We already forgive some of the grammar and spelling issues around here. Do we really want a forum where we all have to converse in another language all the time?

Yes, I’m owned by three munchkins and a wife. My saving grace is I sleep every night in a four-[del]poster[/del] pussy bed.

Then what about just a straight pet forum. People can disuss what ever pet they like and also get the straight dope on a current pet or maybe a pet they are thinking about getting.
