My dishes are plain white Corell ™.
I’m actually looking for some of the bright orange Fiestaware. It’s delightfully radioactive.
Apparently, my Midwinter Stonehenge "Moon"stoneware was only produced in 1973, which is when I bought it. There are fewer pieces every year.
I don’t remember how much it cost but we were living on $52./week back then.
This the crystal we bought about the same time:
Holmegaard Bluebells
Doesn’t it all just sceam '70s?
I have this too!
Like many Dutch, we don’t make the distinction between formal and everyday china. Not enough room in our tiny kitchens to store it all, I suppose.
Anyway, all my plates and bowls are Ikea, Dinera. I mix and match the beige version with the grey blue one depending on the color of the meal. Breakfast usually means the light plates, dinner the dark ones.
My milk jug, sugar bowl and butter dish are all a classic Dutch china pattern, called Boerenbont (“Farmers colours”)
