Quite a few years back, I was driving I-64 from Evansville to Louisville sometime in December. There is a lot of forest in that trip and many of the deer crossing signs with the silhouette of the leaping deer. Someone had taken the time to stop at EVERY sign and put a little red reflector on its nose… my dad and I thought it was hilarious!

That is hilarious! I want to drive the highway and do that now..

A man I used to work with was a hunter and bagged a big buck one year; he spray painted a tennis ball red & put it on the deer’s nose, then called his grandkids out and told them he had bagged Rudolph. He laughingly told this story and how the little 4 year old granddaughter burst into tears. THAT I found no humor in at all.

This not so much, and that’s the same sort of reason I find the OP not so much. Yeah, yeah think of the children, but I don’t want to try explaining that to a kid who’s suddenly screaming in the back seat and I have no idea why because I may not have noticed it while paying attention to the road. You don’t know who will see it, and though amusing in an adult fashion I’d rather not terrorize the children who might see it. (Now if it were part of a crazy holiday movie..)

It would depend on how well preserved the deer was. As long as it didn’t look overly gruesome, I would find it funny. If it were gruesome, then I would find it sick.

It’s December in Montana. The dead deer was thoroughly frozen and well-preserved.
