Some of you may have seen Vince Gill’s newest video, “Next Big Thing”, in which many old clips from informercials and Popeilish commercials are featured.
There is one clip towards the end that features four records spinning at various speeds. Is this actually a demostration of an off-the-wall record player?

Anyway, The records are spinning on trapezoidal platforms black in color, sideways.
Sounds like an attempt at abstract art.
There was at least one brand of linear-tracking turntable that was capable of being hung on a wall, but it played just one LP at a time.
Argh, detail is a virtue…
It looked a lot like a desktop tape dispenser that had a single record spinning bicycle-treadmill-fashion while it was upright, sort of like a plate held upright by one of those holders.
Some variation of a juke box? Many of which played 45s sideways.
