Sigh... Google

I thought that Google was alright because it had a clean interface, would do things for various holidays famous or obscure and give good search results.

Now every time I go to use my beloved search engine I turn off images so I can avoid the startlingly unfunny Scott Adams strips that have been appearing on the homepage.

Why Google? Why? Dilbert is not funny. Scott Adams is tedious. Repackaging ubiquitous everyday tedium as alleged humor. It’s like finding out your best friend masturbates to kiddie porn.

Scott Adams did do a couple of funny strips at one time.

I think it’s just for a week. They’ve done this before.

This is my favorite one, btw:

I enjoy the little changes. Google is still a far cry from most other search engines (like Yahoo, Lycos, blah blah) with a billion different things flashing at you and where the search is not top priority. Google has succeeded and I’m glad to see it.

**Heptapod, ** while most of those parody cartoons are merely 4th Grade toilet humour, the one with the Jew and the concentration-camp cubicle is outrageously disgusting and offensive. The fact that you would find humour in that is beyond belief. Go away, idiot.

You can also switch it to another language to get rid of the strips. I usually keep it in Elmer Fudd.

You are, of course, an induhvidual.

I didn’t have any idea what any of you were talking about even though I use Google daily.

Then I remembered - I have it on my tool bar and therefore never actually see their home page!

I think I’ll keep it that way after checking it out to see what this post was all about.

I only have a problem with the Dilbert stuff.

Cool, someone flamed me with a sock!!! Now I’ll go masturbate.

Actually, it was fun checking out what the Google home page looked like in all those different languages. Try the Bork-Bork-Bork!

Cool! I didn’t know Google had those funny language options. I like Elmer Fudd the best.

Be vewy, vewy quiet…I’m sewching for pown.

Well, dammit, then show Google your displeasure by boycotting their products and services! Yeah! Stick it to the man, Hepta! Make them feel the pain of being deprived of your presence! That’ll learn 'em quick.

::likes Dilbert::

So sue me. I remember downloading m@d p1r@t3d Dilbert comics from BBSs, hehe.

Of course now they are just all available online for free so. . . . (or at least they where last time I checked two or three years ago, no idea about now)

you can also ignore the comics.

Google is the best. Never have searched in vain.
