Signs that you've been over-doing it

I saw this photo on the front page of USA Today online, and immediately knew where it was. Not just the city, but the actual physical location within the airport. I’ve been traveling way too much.

I don’t fly that much, and I know where that is, because it’s the major hub that gets me home

I don’t fly that much either, and I know where that is, because how many airports have rocking chairs? It’s rather distinctive.

I get it. Same thing with realize that your idea of a good end of the day is curling up in your hotel room with some crap on TV and a double scotch from the honor bar…

…that was a clue for me that it was time for a change…

Word, WordMan.

Except I have to go to the actual bar to get Scotch. My honor bar does have good beer and chocolate, though.

Holy crap. I got it straight off too. I haven’t been through there for ages, but it used to be a weekly occurrence.

Same here. No matter where we go, we usually have to pass through rocker land.

OK, so let us in on it – where is it?

I swear I’ve been there, but I probably haven’t.

That’s Charlotte-Douglas Airport, in the center atrium connecting the various terminals, if I’m not mistaken. A further clue is that the article is about free Wi-fi and that appears to be a USAirways jet in the background. There are other airports with rocking chairs, btw.

Yes, of course. I had a feeling that I’d been there before, and recently, but I couldn’t figure out where or when. I stopped there between BOS and JAX in late December.

How about when the cabin crew greet you by name?

I wasn’t sure, but I guessed the right airport too. I don’t travel much, but I lived in CHA for 4 years so that’s why

Well, I was wrong if it’s Charlotte. I thought it was Boston-Logan.

You have to admit, it’s similar.

I’m sure it’s the same chair company making a mint.
