I would like to know why “DO NOT EAT” is an essential part of any silica gel packet, or how it got started…i find those packets in shoe boxes, electronic packages, and duffel bags and ive always wondered why its so bad to eat them!

The same packaging that is used for silica gel included with food/pharmecuticals may be used with non food products.
The manufacturers of the shoe or electronics good can buy cheap, generic silica-gel-in-a-bag that is also used by the food/pharmecuticals packagers.
Or maybe some idoits open their new Hush Puppies and think - wow bonus mystery condiment.

oooooobaby17 Are you OK? At 6:22 you start this thread about eating something labeled DO NOT EAT. At 6:45 you start a thread (now locked) about how to slash one’s wrists. A suspicious person might think that you are looking for a way out.
If that is the case then I have this to say:
Don’t do it. If you are having problems ask for help. Please. There are plenty of people here that have been through hell and back, and they can tell you that ending it is not a solution. Plenty of people here and where you live will be more than willing to talk to you about what ever is bugging you. You are seeking a very permanent fix to a temporary problem.
