Simpsons 1/16/05

“Janitor In A Drum” is a heavy duty astringent floor cleaner.

The idea is that the floor was so pukey and poopy from all the sick that that the imaginary “janitor” timidly hid in the drum. Of course, “Janitor in a Drum” isn’t sold in drums anymore – it comes it regular plastic bottles like bleach and whatnot.

I kept thinking throughout the whole episode:

Lenny: Dental plan?!
Marge: Lisa needs braces!
Lenny: Dental plan?!
Marge: Lisa needs braces!
Lenny: Dental plan?!
Marge: Lisa needs braces!
Lenny: Dental plan?!
Marge: Lisa needs braces!
Lenny: Dental plan?!
Marge: Lisa needs braces!
Lenny: Dental plan?!
Marge: Lisa needs braces!

See, I took it as a vague euphimism for Apu not being able to have any adult fun, the kind that can be cured with a little blue pill. Or I could have been reading too much into it. The “I don’t even know what that means” bit could make it anything though.

Well, like most Simpsons fans, I love to make lists!

Bart: Burns is the sweetest, nicest man I know.

Lisa: How many men do you know?

Bart: Basically him and Dad.

Not counting one-shot guest stars, and allowing for a broad definition of “knowing”, Bart knows:

Grampa
Flanders
Apu
Skinner
Comic Book Guy
Barney
Moe (if prank calls count)
Lionel Hutz
Krusty
Sideshow Bob
Dr. Hibbert
Otto
Groundskeeper Willie
Rev. Lovejoy
Kearney (who’s been shown to be of age)
Chief Wiggum

Any others?

Mrs Kerbopple (sp?)
Principle Skinner

Brian

Edna Krabappel is a man?

I never knew…

The Sea Captain, Troy McClure… interestingly, I can’t think of anybody who disproves Bart’s point. :stuck_out_tongue:
