It’s really nice to just be able to sit back and vote on a subject I love. Just remember that even though round 1 takes forever to tally, it takes half as long each following round. I just hope everyone isn’t burnt out from the first madness and actually votes, since these are the episodes they wanted!

Just curious, how did you do the bracket placement? Dancin’ Homer is probably my least favorite non-clip show episode of the first 8 seasons, so I was surprised to see it at #3.

Bart’s Inner Child got left out of this one, too? Come on, people, there were about 170 episodes in the first eight seasons - take out nine ToH episodes and a handful of clip shows, how can it possibly be in the bottom 50? Bah.

As for Bart’s Inner Child, I didn’t think that episode was very good. And as soon as the trampoline goes away, it’s lame.

I’ve already done the bracketing for the Halloween Madness. It’s broken into Act 1’s, 2’s, 3’s and bumpers (gallery of paintings, Halloween party, etc)

And I agree. after Trambopoline (and the Rutiger line), that episode goes to hell. Bottom of season 5, which was otherwise an excellent season.

Just having some fun, I don’t want to give you any shit in a non-friendly way. While nothing in act two or three of that episode matches the trampoline stuff, I think those few minutes alone are funnier than most of the episodes from the earlier years. And I do like the James Brown band disaster.
