Pardon me for posting, but I was wondering…does anyone here know the name of the song Sinead O’Connor was performing when she tore up the picture of the pope on Saturday Night Live many years ago? And if so, does anyone know if it’s on an album or not? I’m kind of curious.

I don’t know if Sinead ever recorded it or just did it live. She also did it at a benefit concert some years later I believe.
I’m sure someone else will be along with more details shortly.
She was on SNL when she did the ripping.
She did the song again at the Bob Dylan The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration where she was booed. The concert is available on video and CD.
