BurnMeUp, you must know a great deal more about Singapore than I’ve gleaned from the news. I’ve come to the conclusion that it is a real Fascist state–plus some vile descriptions even I would not post to the SDMB.
Actually SIngapore isn’t all that bad… it’s prosperous, safe, clean and friendly. I have had nothing but great experiences there.
I’ll take your word for it, although I’m not likely to go there any time soon. I used to hear that it was just another liberty port for U. S. sailors, same as Tokyo, San Francisco or perhaps Buenos Aires… (careless invitation for Dopers from those places to flame me but good) :eek:
