Sirius Satelite, Thats how business is done!!

So I changed banks the other day.

Knowing I had a reaccuring charge on my old bank card; I called up Sirius to let them know not to charge that card anymore. I also asked them for a mailing address so I could send in this months bill because I haven’t recieved my new bank card yet.

Durring the conversation I kind of half assed joked how I hate using “snail mail” anymore. To wich the guy responded with: “Well hey, I tell you what, why don’t I just GIVE you this month for free. That way you’ll have time to get your new bank card in and you can just call us back with the info.”

I know it’s silly; I’m just having problems wraping my mind around “customer service and good experience” in one sentence!!

My faith in humanity has been restored!

Wow. Maybe they hate snail mail as much as you, and the guy just figured that it was worth the cost to save someone the trouble of processing the snail-mailed payment? That is truly amazing.

I’m impressed!

I worked for the outsourcing company that Sirius uses for customer service. The person realized that changing your billing method from credit card to invoice for one month and then back to credit card would be a pain. They made the right decision by crediting you for one month. Enjoy!

I’ve also had the most notably Nice, and Able- to-help my situation, phone conversations with the Sirius folk.

For me, to have a memorably Nice conversation with an Employee is remarkable, these days. Just doesn’t happen.
