If you asked me 5 years ago I would have said THE SIMPSONS without question. If you asked me 3 years ago I would have called it a tie.

But ask me this now, after the last five years of utter crap the Simpsons has dared to call comedy…

Well, this marks the end of the 2006 March Sitcom Madness SDMB Tournament. The efforts of the actors, writers, animators, catering staff, and that guy who arranges cameos for First Lady Nancy Reagan have been phenominal. We have all been truly touched by the blood, sweat, laughter and tears displayed.

And despite Cheers sinking a final bucket at the horn, through the last-ditch effort of NAF1138, The Simpsons have come out on top.

My home computer is on dial-up, but I happen to be visiting a cable-modem owner today, so I was fortunate to enjoy that video at normal speed. Excellent job! And since you’re a labor activist, I know you’ll make sure all musicians, photographers, and other creative artists whose work was sampled for your effort will get their just cut of any royalties that may be forthcoming… :cool:
