No it doesn’t, we have cayenne in the UK, and we have chili powder. If it meant cayenne, it would have said so. I usually use Penzey’s hot chili powder, but their regular works well too.

I wouldn’t have said anything, but I didn’t want anyone making the recipe wrong (feel free to experiment with as much cayenne as you want to though).
