"Skittles are unsafe for consumers lawsuit charges because they contain a known toxin" ... how much do you have to eat for them to be dangerous?

The dose makes the poison.

I copied the headline and didn’t notice the hyphens until way later… and decided to be lazy and not take them out lol

I can fix that if you want.

Also, I’m happy to hear the gotten rid of green apple flavor. I stopped eating Skittles due to that, too.

please do … apparently once the kids they changed it for grew up and got tired of green apple everyone asked "didn’t we used to have lime skittles?

Title changed.

The complainant apparently didn’t notice that Sour Patch Kids and Nerds candies contain food dyes Yellow #5, Yellow #6 and Blue #1.

“Three dyes (Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6) have been found to be contaminated with benzidine or other carcinogens. At least four dyes (Blue 1, Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6) cause hypersensitivity reactions. Numerous microbiological and rodent studies of Yellow 5 were positive for genotoxicity.”

Nerds’ ingredient list also includes carnauba wax. They’re waxing candy with the same stuff they sell for you to wax your car! Toxins!!!

Time for more class action lawsuits in which lucky consumers will be compensated up to $1.26 each while lawyers split $385 million.

A lot of these consumer suits (Subway tuna?, vague links with rare medical disorders) are balderdash. Everything is poisonous if consumed in excess or the wrong way.

How many millions of Skittles have been safely consumed with no reaction greater than hyperactivity and fealty to the Borg?

It’s so obviously part of the Gay Agenda. Plus, we have not landed on the Moon since Skittles first appeared.

Conversely, “Death Skittles” sound like an awesome band name. Like some kind of Goth Ska band, or something.

Yep, decades ago, my dad suggested that Occam’s Razor indicates that the science proves: Rats Get Cancer. And not much else! (No, he wasn’t anti-science, he was making a joke.)
