Bosda Di’Chi of Tricor, my guess is you are related to the Hannemann family. Jeff Hannemann’s family chopped off the extra “n”. You don’t by chance, have any relatives in Northern Michigan do you ?
Looking back at my list of Slayer stuff, I left of Live Undead, and a well fought for drumstick.
blur, tell me about it. I got kicked in the gut while pouncing on the floor after a guitar pick. Some big fat dude was not happy with my quick reflexes and kicked me while I was on the ground. Lucky for me the lights had just come up and the security guys saw the whole thing and kicked him out before I kicked his ass
I would just like to mention here that the “Diablos in Musica” – at least as the term was originally used in the Middle Ages – refers to two notes that are exactly half an octive (three whole steps, or a “tritone”) apart. Also known as the diminished 5th or the augmented 4th.
And I’d also like to say that without the tritone, we would not have the Dominant 7th chord. Thank you, and good night.
Yeah, I first read about that in an article about Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Purple Haze’ in a guitar magazine way back in the late '80s or early '90s. ‘Purple Haze’ uses the tritone in the main riff, it’s also used in a lot of metal because of it’s dark, discordant sound.
I missed your answer the other day, and I’ve been looking for this thread to pop back up. Guess I have to scroll down the page a little slower from now on.
Dammit, I missed the show this week. I thought it was on the 21st, and it was on the 11th.
Now you just have to convince him that he needs to become a Doper, so we can have another “Ask the Rock Star” thread.
