I am in no way making light of sleep apnea, I suffer from sleep apnea and wear a C-PAP machine at night; I just thought this was odd.
The person who hosts Jazz Tracks on the local NPR station (Cleveland–90.3 WCPN) announced that his next program will be about the football player who just died. His death was related to sleep apnea. So on the next jazz show the discussion will be about sleep apnea. It just seemed odd to me in that it is a health topic and it is perhaps a sports topic because the man was a football player, and it is going to be on a jazz show.
Oh well, I guess the more people know about the seriousness of sleep apnea, the better.
