If you were really caring you would throw them out (quietly) and buy new ones.
It’s a nonfactor for me. I can sleep through a fire alarm. Doing dishes would not even register.
Give me sleep. Doing the dishes isn’t that important.
Plus women use a screwed up algorithm anyway.

The sounds of someone doing dishes is the delicious sound of me not doing them. Ah, bliss.
That aside, I can sleep through almost anything so I’m someone for whom it wouldn’t register anyway.
You did one of “her” chores. This is a happy making thing. Worth it in my book.
This reminds me of the Green Acres episode where Lisa is emptying the dishwasher. She takes a plate out then sticks it on the pile. Then she takes another, looks at it and throws it out the window.
Oliver say, “Why did you do that.”
Lisa replies “I warned them, they get only ONE chance to get clean. After that out they go.”
I find the sound of dish-doing disturbing. I also can’t stand switching on of lights – you’re going to bed, you don’t need to see anything!
Of course, the dishes are on my list of chores, so it’s all within my control! (Evil laugh!)
Buy a dishwasher 
The one in my flat sounds like the sea… you can’t actually hear it from my room - or at least I can’t, with my opioid-enhanced waxy ears, but in the kitchen it’s very soothing.
