Yup, I’m not even a parent but I consider Complete Funny measurements in Little Kid Giggles or LKGs. Of course, once you get that particular unit of measurement going it’s hard to stop it for a definitive count.
Okay, I am satisfied. Cutest thread of the week.
(She’s adorable! I just want to give her scritches and cuddles! Puppy!)
One measurement of time I use is an anime. Works out to 3 animes an hour, roughly. Very useful, because sometimes I’ll have 20min with nothing to do - well, that’s one episode.
Also useful if I have, say, four hours free, and want to know how many eps I’ll get through.
In practise, there are two anime units - abbreviated, or standard, anime (where the intro is skipped) and extended anime (where the intro is watched). This is an important distinction, as watching ten units of standard instead of extended anime saves roughly one anime. This is vital information for watching any anime over around 30 eps long.
Clearly I think about this sort of stuff too much. Or not enough.
This is not at all new. But not a lot of people know that the official unit of beauty is the “milliHelen”
It is defined as “enough beauty to launch one ship”
