If you have read Slow Boats to China by Gavin Young, what did you think of it and would you recommend reading it?
Not read it myself, but have a very close friend, a compulsive traveller, who recommends it strongly. He’s fond of Paul Theroux, Peter Mathiessen, Eric Newby, and Bruce Chatwin, if that helps.
