Small dish, big pressure cooker.

I have a large pressure cooker/canner. I’m wondering if I can put a smaller pot or heatproof dish inside it, in a water bath, to cook a smaller meal, like a stew for instance?

That’s basically what you’re doing when you’re canning, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Just make sure the smaller container isn’t something that seals up tightly so the pressure can equalize. You’d also probably want a trivet to keep the pot off of the bottom of the PC.
