Smallest In-Ground Swimming pool?

I wonder how small a swimming pool can be (and still be useable). Anybody ever have a VERY small inground pool? Do you like it?

What about those “Endless Pool” things? They’re awfully tiny.

Obviously not this one.

My apartment complex has a kiddy pool about this size. It’s fairly commonplace.

I once had a 12x24 pool that a cheapo previous owner had put in. Definitely too small. 32 feet long is the minimum for any actual swimming.

My parents have the worlds tiniest in ground pool. It’s one of those kidney shaped jobs… maybe about 10 ft long and 5 ft wide.

It’s not at all good for actually swimming. It’s almost like a reverse hot tub. It’s really neat for the kids to kick around in or to cool off on a really hot day.

But mostly it’s a lot of work year round to my dad for something that is useful for maybe 30 days out of the year

Yeah, our friend’s pool isn’t much bigger than that. It’s a homemade jobbie that the previous owners put in.
