I had no problems at all with Optus while I was using a Nokia; it’s only been since I’ve had my iPhone that the service has become progressively worse. In order to use the phone at all, I’ve had to stand right up close to the window in the staff room. The last three or four days, I’ve had no service at all. Colleagues who have good access are all with Telstra; those with pathetic access (or none at all) are either with Optus or Vodafone.
Yeah, I’ve heard people bitch about Optus and the iPhone, there seems to be some design flaw there, because theoretically if you got service on your nokia there’s no reason why you shouldn’t get it in exactly the same spot with your iPhone.
