Dear Cecil,
Before I would get sick, like a cold or flu, I would always smell a certain smell. This just started happening in the last year or two. The only way I can describe the smell is a mixture of Doritoes and/or spices. Just recently, while my scalp was recovering from a bad hair dying experience (burnt scalp!) I noticed I constantly smelled Vicks Vapor Rub… I’m curious as to what this could mean? How is it possible? Is it more of that I’m pulling these smells from memory? Is there some meaning behind the smell of one vs the other, like the spices when getting sick, and the vapor rub when healing? And lastly, is this a common thing or am I just really that “special”???
