Now Cecil, he’s like God. Having a drawing of him is almost blasphamous. Besides, I picture him more as the nice happy grandfathery (and a few other -ey’s) type person. (kudos to whoever drew that, though). And also, on the whole cecil isn’t mentioned enough in the majority of the boards to be a smilie. One could just say “cecil” rather than have the smilie.

Now the not listening smilie. Blegh, we already know the pits are where nobody listens to anyone else. People are thick headed there. Why have a smilie to prove it? If anything it might start a few fights.
Now the evil hamster. Just look at it. At first glance it appears cute. You see the wiskers, the ears. Aww…
But then you realize the evilness behind it rivals the rodent from the search for the holy grail.
The red eyes, the buckteeth… My god the thing would chew through a cage, eat your post, homework, and while it’s at it steal your girlfriend.
If this one passes (and I hope it does) someone bring in a shotgun, a few stainless steel mousetraps with spikes and an elephant without fear.
Talk about a useful smilie, a good quarter of my posts are eaten by this (until now) faceless animal.

The not listening smiley is inherently a contradiction. I mean, I can only post the :not listening: smiley in threads that I’ve already opened. I cannot post the :not listening: smiley in the threads that I don’t dare touch.
How silly is that?
And what benefit is there to being able to say you’re not listening? How often does it come up, to the degree that you feel the need to express it so strongly?
