Smirky McDouchebag lawsuit dismissed

No worries octopus. They won’t come for you.

Hypocrite? I haven’t advocated violence for expressing points of view or attire. I’m not sure why you’d say that about me. Are there some unhinged folks on the right? Absolutely. The president himself doesn’t always seem to be inhabiting reality. I’m not sure how any of that justifies death threats on teens for wearing a hat though.

Probably not. Though I am pretty tan. Now, outside of illegal immigrants who’s being come after? And yes it’s shameful how those detained are being treated. But the US has never been known for civilized treatment of detained or imprisoned and I find that deeply troubling.

Actually it is more sad that you show others here that you can not read for comprehension, the example given pointed out at how that clothing made some extreme right wingers unhinged and then there was a native American that tried to defuse the situation among right wingers but he himself misunderstood a lot of what was going on.

As for advocating, that is not what is going on right now, I have seen a lot of leftists pointing at some stupid guys on the left that did that, but most from the left did notice that it was not good to advocate violence, it is just that it does remain an act of willful ignorance from the right to ignore what took place at the start, it was an extreme right wing group who advocated violence over that choice of clothing and many right wingers like you want to ignore that lesson.

Fine with me, the result is that many MAGAts continue to act blissfully in their ignorance of choosing to wear such divisive message, but that is ok by me since other people from the right, such as religious people, are also finding that the corruption coming from the groper in chief is not just about corruption about his business dealings.

Yes it is. I’m pretty middle of the road and have voted for more Republicans than Dems, but even I can see the the parallels between the Nazis and the shit Trump spews, and if you can’t you’re part of the problem.

Repeating hyperbole isn’t going to help. Demonstrate the analogy is true. Has Trump waged wars of conquest? Do we have secret police and stormtroopers? Has the political opposition been outlawed? Has the state taken control of the media? Does the army have stylish uniforms?

When people get up in my face and cause me to feel perplexedly nervous, usually I say “screw this” and walk away to avoid pointless discomfort.

Unless I feel like making a point out of it. Then I stare them down with a vacant smirk on my face.

No, but he has insisted that among the Nazis of today there are fine people too…

And we know already what he thinks a president would like to do if his ratings go down among his base:

I checked the timeline, but it didn’t extend far enough to include that event.

Good to know that you were so wise and level-headed when you were 16 years old.

Stop moving the goalposts. Look at his behavior.

What? Yep the goal posts have been moved all the way to the moon by the request for Nazi behavior that you agree that Trump is emulating. I’m not the one who made the ridiculous claim.

In 1936 neither had Hitler done those things, for the most part. But he was working up to it. Don’t you think WWII and the Holocaust would have been different if people had stood up to Hitler before he got carried away?

The whole point of “Never Again” is to stop it before it starts, not lament it afterwards. Calling trump one his BS is trying to stop it before it gets out of hand.

The tighty righties get offended when people call the BP concentration camps “concentration camps”, complaining about the “unfair” comparison to Nazi Germany. They whine that it’s inflammatory to make such comparisons, as mass executions are not being done. But in 1936, Germany’s concentration camps hadn’t become death camps yet, either. They worked up to it.

We’re NOT going to let trump “work up to it”.

As pointed before that is based on the support that Trump gave to the Nazis in Charlottesville and his racist tirades, and while you are trying to stop others from pointing that out by pulling a “Godwin”, lets check the word of God:

“By all means, compare these shitheads to Nazis. Again and again. I’m with you.” - Mike Godwin

Maybe if you ignore all the other teens, who were clearly his friends, surrounding him and mocking the Native Americans with chanting and racist tomahawk chips while he smiled, you’d have a point. But, alas, reality is a touch different.

I never supported out and out racist mocking of anyone.

Yep. And is Smirky had apologized and went away instead of hiring a Republican PR firm, doing the right wing rounds, and trying to sue the media outlets that covered the news, I’d not have a problem with him. But, once again, reality is different.

I don’t know if he so much smirks, as just kind of jiggles his wattles. He barely moves his head, so it’s hard to notice, but the moving wattle momentum pulls the corners of his mouth a bit.

Ok so the solution is to advocate political violence directed at kids? Sounds like you are the fascists.

I wasn’t aware that Yertle McConnell was capable of smirking? I did have to click on the thread to find out which Smirky McDouchebag was being discussed, but then I remembered the incident, and was pleased to see that others had remembered that Smirky and pals weren’t just clueless teens on a field trip.

Maybe historically you haven’t acted like a smarmy douchebag. But I’m living in the now.

I’m glad you find that deeply troubling. So what the fuck are you doing about it?
