Smokers: What's your brand?

I’ve been growing my own weed since last November, and I’ve got some tobacco seeds now too.
with any luck I’ll be smoking some fine Nicotiana rustica by next fall.If that goes anywhere, I’ll post back.

I hand roll American Spirit “Natural.” It has a USDA Certified Organic stamp on it. But I could care less if it’s organic or not. That stuff has a way high nicotine content. It’s probably not cured as long, or something.

I don’t enjoy smoking anything less than “full flavor,” which is impossible to discern now with the new packaging laws. When I’m smoking, I want to KNOW I’m smoking.

aNewLeaf: That is so cool. I would wait for you back post about Where the things went with your tobacco seeds.

I am still waiting for someone to tell me the name of a vendor nearby Bay Port, Michigan from where I could get a E-Cigarette starter kit.

Thank you in advance

Big thread from awhile back: IIRC the Volcano Magma was popular, at least >2 years ago.

No, no, you’re smoking American Spirits all wrong. The correct way to do it is smoke with “friends,” then sneer at them as they pull out their Marlboros, explaining that yours is “organic” and “healthier” than their “cancer sticks.” Next time, try with more feeling, less decency

Nobody has mentioned Round Ups or Kings yet.

thelurkinghorror: Thank you so much for the information, a period > 2 years is quite a long time but I will definitely have a look at it. In the mean time I too was looking for some vendors nearby Bay Port, Michigan so that I can get my E-Cigarette starter kit as soon as possible and I found out that Boosted Vapor’s electronic cigarette kits http://www.boostedvapor.com/e-cigarette-kits-joyetech/ are a good option for me and it seems quite promising too. Most of all its near to me and with good savings.

What do you think about this and Do you have any idea about the Boosted Vapor?

I haven’t smoked for years. But I started with Camel Lights. I think mostly because my BiL did. Then at some point I switched to Marlboro Lights then Ultra Lights. IIRC they were just less harsh on my throat. I’m glad I put that behind me. I wouldn’t want to have to spend that much.

I started with camel lights, tried marlboro (both menthol and regular), but when I found my chocolate flavored cigarettes I was home. Sweet Dreams are made of these…

Now I want a cigarette :frowning:

Marlboro Smooth. Switched from Mild five or six years ago. Soon it will be baby-making time, so hopefully I won’t have a brand anymore in a year or so.

Marlboro lights or camel blue. Whichever is cheaper at the time.

I used to smoke Virginia Slims Lights, which amuses me as to how easily influenced I was to advertising. For a while I smoked these little skinny things called Capri; people were always asking me if I was smoking a joint. :stuck_out_tongue:

I started with my mom’s Virginia Slims (way strong) and my friends’ Marlboro Reds (yuck - instant headache for me now). I went through a Marlboro Lights phase, and then smoked Kamel Lights (very cool package). Now, I’m a Marlboro Ultra Lights smoker, and have been for years.

It’s funny - I’m usually a pretty laid back person, but when they changed the regulations, I immediately started calling them “Marlboro Silvers” which just sounds all kinds of awkward. I don’t know why I feel the need to be so proper when buying smokes - most clerks still take a second to realize that “Silvers” equals “Ultra Lights.”

Camel No. 9 Menthe 100’s. Started with Marb Lights, don’t really remember what I switched to when I first went menthol. When the No. 9s were first introduced, most places had them on sale or in the Buy 1 Get 1 packs, and I immediately switched permanently. They’re getting harder and harder to find though (less that 10 years later) and there’s been talk about discontinuing them for years. If they ever do get discontinued, that’ll probably be my catalyst to quit smoking, as I just don’t really like any other brands.
