"Snakes on a Plane" was not the first

I know what you mean, ftg, but I think this one’s debatable. In the movie, to demonstrate his power, the alien visitor

temporarily takes away all energy and electricity, so that cars stand still in the streets, nothing can move etc.

This is referred to in the title as ‘making the Earth stand still’. Okay, it’s a little bit oblique, but it is a sorta fair description of the alien’s demonstration.
I didn’t really think I needed a spoiler box when discussing what happens in such an old, classic, well-known and well-loved movie, but better safe than sorry, and I didn’t even want to risk spoiling this great, great movie for any younger Dopers who haven’t caught it yet.

I think that’s the only title that deserves its own spoiler box.

Does Eight Heads in a Duffel Bag work?

I’m not sure if it’s completely descriptive (ie, no real plot details), but it’s almost at the same level of description as Snakes on a Plane. And it’s almost as silly, and you can pretty much tell by the title whether or not you want to see it.
