SNL poetry skit

Some years ago an SNL skit involved a “poetry publishing” company or something like it.

Courteney Cox was the guest host, and she was in it.

Anyway, they used a lot of recognizable poetry lines, but I’d like a source for one:

“Truth like a bastard comes into the world.”

It was attributed to Milton in the skit.

If so, where?

(I do realize it might have been made up ad hoc, but just in case it wasn’t. . . .)

Ad hoc?

What’s up with that Mjolly?

Doesn’t answer you question, Mjollnir, but you made me think of it. Did anyone see the Seinfeld/Oz skit they did about two weeks ago? It was the funniest thing I’ve seen a host do on SNL. I was in stitches!

Latin for “for this,” as in “made up just for this sketch, but not having any relevance anywhere else.”

Then Q.

He thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

But no smilies.
