So Bob Goldthwait - Does he really sound like that?

i don’t know where he is, but I do know that he married Nikki Cox :frowning:

Howard Stern played a tape of Gilbert leaving a message on his answering machine. It was totally unrecognizable. Very cultured sounding. Goddfried was upset because he is contractually required to keep the voice up for all publicity stuff, I think.

Martin

Bobcat live is VERY different from Bobcat in movies. He made a point of this in the interview I did with him for an article. He said – with some surprise – that the only people that ever let him improvise were the Disney people when he was doing Hercules.

Come to think of it, I should have asked him if this was also the case for Shakes The Clown. Would have made for an interesting answer either way.

But yeah, he has his gimmick but according to him, it’s only used for other peoples’ scripts. Live, he’s brilliant. I’ve seen it.

Did any of you see tonight’s episode of CSI? Goldthwait, looking almost unrecognizably old, thin, and haggard, did an excellent acting job using a voice that had the barest edge of the Bobcat character, just enough to make you realize - after a double take - who it was.

And he even played the

killer.

How cool is that?

Geez, Bryan, nice use of the spoiler! I’d never, ever have guessed what you put in the spoiler box!

Winnie, I thought the drug dealer in Blow was Pee-Wee Herman. In fact, I’m sure of it.

If you saw last night’s CSI you would not be asking the OP…Though I know it was written waay before last nights CSI.

OOPS I didn’t read Exapno’s thread…
