I wonder how the treaty would work if the EU attacked the UK, since both the UK and several EU members are in NATO.

Both Greece and Turkey are members of NATO, as are Canada and Spain, and Canada and Denmark. I think we’re long overdue for an inter NATO war, since Britain is following the trajectory of 1930s Japan, and we’re just straight up assassinating moderate politicians in the streets now, what’s next? Anschluss with the Republic of Ireland? Establishment of a Caledonian People’s Rebublic?

Don’t be ridiculous. Political assassinations and other acts of violence in Britain are carried out by individuals or at worst terrorist groups not by organized conspiracies within the government that included an entire army (the Kwantung Army of Manchuria) that was practically independent of the central government.
