When my Uncle Phil got married they had a traditional Scottish Wedding (as far as I know) He was dressed up in a kilt (Yummy, despite being my uncle I was drooling over the pics) and my Aunt Carolyn wore an old fashioned gown and such. I wish I could’ve gone, but it was in Australia and I had even less money then than I do now. :mad:
Ah well I plan to get down there at some point. I have 2 cousins there I’ve yet to meet!

I’m impressed that you made your own kilt as it’s quite a task… that’s why authentic ones cost so much although someday I hope to own one.
I’m the market for a kilt or two myself but for regular usage… I was thinking a utilikilt and a sportkilt in a Campbell tartan would serve me well for most occasions…

I have been lusting after one of these for months, without really knowing why… I mean on a girl its just gonna look like an ugly skirt. MrsIteki took one look at it and said “It’s the pockets, you want it because of the pockets”. And it’s true.
I’m quite amazed at myself too Feynn. It’s not an especially nice one, I’m going to have to work on it a little more. But it passes as a kilt. I wore it on the transit to the game and people just thought I was wearing a skirt.
