So, how many of you dolts don't know about the PNAC...

…and their influence in (mis)guiding American foreign policy for the past six years?

Really, I am amazed that at this point in time, what with all that’s been written and exposed (down to the firing of Powell) there are still supposedly educated Americans such as Monty, that appear to honestly not have a clue about both the group and their power in this WH.

Is this something akin to an ostrich burrowing his head in the sand as opposed to facing reality? Because, otherwise I simply don’t understand the ignorance on this particular issue. Yes, I know, at first when some of us brought it up it was dismissed as some sort of tin-foil “conspiracy theory.” Meanwhile the “conspiracy” has its own website with their plans clearly laid out in the open and a direct connection to the WH through a myriad of their most prestigious members either holding powerful positions in the current Administration or having a direct line to the President himself. Jeb Bush, for instance, might sound familiar.

Seriously, what gives? Want to stay ignorant be my guest, but please, please, for your own good don’t make such appalling ignorance a public affair. Best you keep your head in the sand.

Otherwise you can either watch this program and/or read this primer.
::::shakes head in disgust::::

Fucking astounding. Simply fucking astounding.

It’s irrelevant. He stated, correctly, that the PNAC is “not official”, in the same way that NARAL is not an official part of the Democratic Party. In that thread you are advancing the position that affiliation equals approbation or the conferring of some sort of official status, which it clearly does not.

Now, if you are making the argument that the opinions espoused by the PNAC are influential, you’re absolutely right. But otherwise, you may as well say that the Freemasons are running the government. It smacks of the worst kind of paranoid conspiracy theory.

I think that may be the only thing that many of us can agree with you on. I have no idea what you are trying to say. They are a Washington think tank (hardly a rare species) and people make charts with their name on it and lots of pretty lines. Are you saying that these people actually supercede the Illuminati and the Masons?

(bolding/underlining mine)
But of course I am. What other possible earthly reason would I have to bring it up in the first place?

For fuck’s sake, you could write a book the size of the Bible with all the evidence pointing at their influence/control in your nation’s foreign policy.

Considering the OP, what did you expect? Should be good for comedy value, though.

“OH NOES!11 Dan Quayle, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney and Jeb Bush will take over the world!”

Classic.

Yeah, sure. That’s exactly what I’m saying. Congrats on getting it on your very first try

PS-You able to double clink on a link? If so, this might be a good time for you to do so. Plenty of them provided in the OP.

What’s up dude? LTNS. Going to be chasing me all over the board? Trust you have fun with that, scumbag. At least it’ll keep you off the streets for a while.

One less psycho running around on the loose.

But that’s not what you said or were implying in the other thread.

**Valteron’**s on vacation, so I needed a substitute bitch. You’ll do for now.
Keep dancing. You amuse Us.

I know nothing about PNAC, but this thread has educated me to the fact that RedFury is a schmuck.

I didn’t know what PNAC was before this thread.

RedFury, thanks for the lesson. Just wish you had provided it without all the insults.

  1. No one has said that. Are you quoting yourself? Misquoting another person’s argument (especially when it’s done in fake Leetspeak) tends to make for less-than-convincing rebuttal.

  2. The question raised in this thread was, “How many of you dolts don’t know about the PNAC?” This dolt does. How about you?

  3. Would you like to put forward the proposition that the ideas of the PNAC, and the fact that several of its members ended up highly placed in the Bush administration, had nothing whatsoever to do with the administration’s decision to go to war with Iraq?

You’ve got an organization that embraces the political philosophy also embraced by the White House. And it turns out that many people in or near the White House also are involved in the organization . . . which has the same political philosophy as the White House.

I’m not seeing the smoking gun here. You seem to be having a big “A-HA!” moment over something that isn’t in the least surprising.

I think your irony meter is broken.

I never thought it was possible to not know about PNAC.

Haven’t you ever heard of the New Pearl Harbor? A poster named jjimm? Richard Perle?

Jesus, people. You especially, Red Van Winkle.

You know, there’s just something about RedFury. He could be talking about puppy dogs and rainbows, and he’d still be an asshole.

No? Please do me the favor of parsing your understanding of what I said in the “other thread” that doesn’t commune with what I am saying here.

Oak and Bryan,

Thank you for your brilliant contributions. I knew underneath all that smelly shit you were both diamonds in the rough.

Keep them coming. Unless of course your hands cramp-up or your blow-dolls deflate.

It’s called comedic license. They sell them at Wal-Mart for $2.99

I’ll pass thanks. Would you like to put forward the proposition that grass is usually green?

Oh yeah, and in case anyone thinks I might be taking sides here, RedFury’s being quite the asshole as well. Maybe you two could put your feud on hold for a later date?

Well, we can can always re-inflate them by attaching them to your sense of self-importance.

Sure, why not? Let me know when you’ve got your counterargument ready and I’ll be happy to listen to it.
