Yes, I know, at first when some of us brought it up it was dismissed as some sort of tin-foil “conspiracy theory.” Meanwhile the “conspiracy” has its own website with their plans clearly laid out in the open and a direct connection to the WH through a myriad of their most prestigious members either holding powerful positions in the current Administration or having a direct line to the President himself. Jeb Bush, for instance, might sound familiar.

In that thread you are advancing the position that affiliation equals approbation or the conferring of some sort of official status, which it clearly does not.
Now, if you are making the argument that the opinions espoused by the PNAC are influential, you’re absolutely right. But otherwise, you may as well say that the Freemasons are running the government. It smacks of the worst kind of paranoid conspiracy theory.

They are a Washington think tank (hardly a rare species) and people make charts with their name on it and lots of pretty lines. You’ve got an organization that embraces the political philosophy also embraced by the White House. And it turns out that many people in or near the White House also are involved in the organization . . . which has the same political philosophy as the White House.
