Having said that, IMO, the kid does resemble you. Then again, as per FairyChatMom, perhaps the ex just liked (likes?) a ‘certain type’.
I’d like to believe if I were in your shoes, I’d concentrate on my current relationship, and just let go of this.
Yeah, that thought crossed my mind, but Crystal said that he was a total jerk and was absent from the kid’s life. Either way, I’m taking her word for it that he’s not mine.
Putting them (yours and his) side by side they are some general similarities in the nose and hairline, but I’m not really seeing all the other points as being issues as these features (your nose and hairline) are actually fairly common features in people of Caucasian/European ancestry. He looks kinda like you but (IMO) not nearly close enough to be your son. You put most dad and sons pics together and there would normally be more obvious similarities (especially in facial structure and around the eyes) than I’m seeing here.
Homie, just to back up what others said, people do often date people who have similarities to past lovers - hell, my ex cheated on me with and is still seeing a guy who others had mistaken for my brother - we’re that similar in appearance. Strangely, my GF looks nothing like my ex, but DOES resemble strongly several girls I dated before I got with my ex.
So heave a sigh of lifted responsibility relief. 
We tend to have “types” and he could just be the son of her “type” … which happens to look a lot like you. I have three basic types of men and most men I dated could fall into those three main types.
It’s a rollercoaster. I’ve never been in the position to wonder if it’s my kid (I’m a woman, I wouldn’t be), but as someone who has had an inopportune pregnancy (I subsequently miscarried), I know that a surprise kid can be a bit of a shock, whether it’s an unborn baby or a full grown man. But if you trust her, I’d go with her word.
I hope the kid is not a doper. I’d be freaked out if I was him and found this thread.
