I spent about a month there, and I saw again and again a population ruled by a minority they strongly disagree with. There was incredible discontent for the government then, and when I first heard the election results, I simply could not believe it. Needless to say, a little more reading quickly confirmed my initial suspicions. I have no idea what will be the result of this all, but I sincerely wish the best for those wishing for freedom. It is absolutely disgusting to see the government’s desperate cling to power.
I made a blog-like journal of my time in Iran which I compiled shortly after I left the country when I was in India. I wanted to share it given the recent events.
Simply put, Iran is a beautiful country in geography, culture, and people.
