There are easier ways to get a minute to yourself than going to the hospital, you know.
Now you get better and get out of there. Hospitals are not the place to be.

I hope you feel better soon MBG! Please let us know what’s going on when you can.
MBG, I’d order you to get better but wiser minds than mine already have.
So I’ll order your doctor to make you better pronto!
See what all that exercise gets you? Take it easy, and post. I don’t do the MMP thing, but I like you.
Maybe you are having an odd side effect of global warming or something.
Hope all is well.
Home now, and thanks to everyone!
They moved me to a new floor last night (for the record, I am the first person evah to stay in Rm 8603) and the wireless was almost non-existent.
This morning I awoke to a nice man who took me down to have another man stick a tube down my throat. Thankfully, I was knocked out for that part.
So, bottom line is they know what’s the deal, they just aren’t quite sure why it’s happening yet. My hemoglobin is noticeably lower than it was three weeks ago. I’m not losing it anywhere - no pee or poop blood, and the scope this morning didn’t show anything.
The common culprit they think is something not telling my body to make enough to keep up. A couple of the crazy people meds I’m taking could have that effect, so we’re going to get Doc Lisa involved.
Sometime in the next week I see the cardiologist - even though the echocardiogram said I have a perfect heart (who woulda guessed?) he wants a stress test. Then I also have to see a hematologist, which is a kind of doctor whose function I am about to Google before I drag the wimmen to dinner because I have been eating complete crap since Sunday.
Thanks again!!!
PS: Cuervo mobbed me when I walked in the door.
That’s why my mom was in the hospital too! Her hemoglobin level fell dangerously low - and they couldn’t figure out why. What a weird coincidence!
Anyway, glad you’re home and doing ok! We were worried about you!
I was worried. I’m glad you’re ok. Did you find out what a hematologist does? I worked with many of them over the years.
Keep us informed, 'k?
Glad you’re home MBG. Hee about Cuervo mobbin’ you! Stay well. I mean it young man!
Hope someone figgers out what’s going on, but glad to know it’s not too awful bad. {{{MBG}}}
ACK! I can’t believe I missed this thread. Bus Guy and family: [[[[hugs]]]]
I went from all anxious to somewhat relieved. I’m glad you’re home and I hope you’re healthy as a grass-fed chicken.
Is there any way to send “YAY you’re well enough to stay home!” cards?
Yay! You’re home! (And have checked back in here. We worry, you know.)
GT
Dude…maybe you’re a daywalker.
Could happen.
Glad for the update and that you’re home now. Take it easy and I hope the problem is solved soon!
I’m glad you’re home. I hope you’ll be able to find a balance of meds that will treat this, while allowing you to keep your mental health, too.
Sending more good thoughts your way!
Aw, come on, where you been, brah? *Of course * he’s a daywalker!
You see, **Mr Bus Guy ** translates into *Señor Autobús Hombre * in Spanish, right? Now, spell Hombre backwards, you get Erbmoh which totally means “herb brother”, or *irmão da erva * in like, Portugese. You with me? Okay, so then, in Italian, what this basically means, is something like *i pesci aumenteranno ancora in giorno del signore scuro * - you see where this is going. When you take this to the Greeks, they are heard to exclaim έχω ένα γκρέιπφρουτ !
That can only mean one thing: dhampir post among us.
I’m glad you’re back home, Senor Hombre Autobus!
Aw, I coulda told you that, you big ol’ lug! Now keep it healthy, too!
smoochies
Uh-oh…wait a sec. Give some of those smoochies to Mrs. Bus Gal, will ya? I don’t want to get on that lady’s bad side!
(I have no idea how I missed this thread, either.)
Awwww! He did what I told the Neville kitties to tell him to do.
You get better, and enjoy your therapy cat.
This is the most sensible thing I have ever read on these boards.
I bow to you, Anastasaeon, and your greatness.
Mr. Bus Guy, if you had spent one more night there in the hospital, we would have been forced to send in strippers.
