I agree that it’s not that important. But FWIW, my point was that just because person X is in favor of the war, doesn’t imply that person X is going to bash antiwar people as opposed to simply disagreeing with them.
Agreed. I can see where some of the stuff he said was crossing the line. He seems to be unwilling to rethink his war position, and I wonder if the drubbing he just received will be the kick in the pants he needs in order to do that. It’s probably too little too late for most Dems, though. He’s going to need a lot of Republican support to win as an independent in CT.
I was actually referring to the 2nd sentence where he takes the GOP line that censure procedings over the illegal wiretapping were called “divisive”.
Most of his financial support doesn’t even come from Connecticut.

Maybe he is planning to run with Bloomberg?
Dunno how accurate it is, but Kos says Hillary’s drying up the NY Dem money that had been flowing to Lieberman before the primary.
I’m not sure what sort of difference that’ll make, since I expect Lieberman will get a fair bundle of GOP money, now that he’s their de facto candidate.
Still, you’ve gotta worry about a campaign whose website is still just a one-age shell, 19 days after the alleged hack. It doesn’t seem like he has an actual organization anymore.
That shoulda been “one-page shell.”
What’s going to be interesting is what Steven Rattner is going to do. He’s been Lieberman’s personal money pot, but his wife is a friend of Hillary.
Especially since the so-called “hack” was nothing more than his $15-a-month(!) hosting service shutting down the site for excessive traffic. Anyone who runs a statewide campaign website – especially a campaign that’s getting national attention – for $15 a month deserves all the geek catcalls he gets.
