I got a kick out of this, but as I thought about it, it would have worked.

What Would Jesus Smoke?
Could Jesus have fed the 5,000 with only one ounce of Indica?
Did he transform a bag of oregano into Atomic Kush?
Did he cleanse the temple of people who were charging 75 shekels for a medical 420 card?
Forgive me, but herb.co (have you checked out the front page of their web site? “The 5 most discreet ways to stay baked on 420”) announcing that historical documents proved that Jesus used marijuana is a bit like the NRA announcing that historical documents proved that he owned an AK-47.
I’m kind of thinking I might want to see an unbiased source here.
Let’s hope the Thermians don’t get hold of those.
Apparently it’s a (relatively modern) hypothesis for the main ingredient in “holy oil”. Hardly a good starting point for claiming it as an explanation for Jesus’ miracle healing.

I’d trust the author. He has photographic evidence of Jesus with a bong!
I Googled kaneh-bosem and the first link is a page from 1996(!), while Wikipedia cites a book from 1967, so it’s not a new belief.
Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat it?
When it comes to interpreting the Bible, I’d say 1967 counts as “new”.
Or perhaps, “what were the people who wrote the article smoking” and that’s a question that pretty much answers itself.
