No sarcastic comments, please. I know where they come from – I’m not totally dense. What I mean is, are these columns that have been in the Classics on-line archives for years, and somehow were picked to be this week’s feature? Or are new additions that had never been in the archive before? In either case, how are they selected?

Well why don’t they keep adding old columns? I know that there are still old columns that haven’t been put online. Are only columns edited by Little Ed considered for online use? (Except for the historically significant 1st Column.) Have all of these been used?
As I understand it, most of the older columns are kept inaccessible in order to encourage people to purchase and read the books, rather than merely using the free website as a reference service.
