There’s a magazine we have at the library that’s quite popular with the army wives - Military Spouse, but let’s be honest and call it Military Wife. It does seem to be pretty good and have a lot of good nuts and bolts information about military-specific topics, like, say, moving with the Army, and should I Facebook friend my husband’s CO’s wife?
When I did bootcamp, mail call was the thing I looked forward to every day. I was sent letters, cards, newspaper clippings, anything that my loved ones thought I would be interested in. It was the major boost that got me through.
Don’t be hurt if you don’t get much mail back, he is going to be VERY busy. I saved all of the mail I got.
