Since when are opinions considered personal attacks?
Was there a memo I missed?

I thought an opinion went something around the likes of, I THINK that movie sucked.
An attack would sound more like, You fuckin idiot, what the hell were you thinking? Did someone forget to attach the brain today?

Everone has their opinions, and whether I agree with them or not, I respect them in their difference.
I thought here in the world of adults, people could take opinions and leave them if they so chose, not label them something they aren’t, and then get hostile to the person opinionating.
And if that person happens to against the masses, they must be hung up by their external genitalia and poked publically?

Fuck this, put down your sticks and go fight a war that deserves it.

Okay. Sorry, I had thought that there was enough information there.

“Jane” was complaining about her job, how it sucked, and she got a bit shitty with her boss.

There are a few agreements That her boss was being an ass.

Then along comes “Peter” Later referred to as Dick. He expresses the opinion that maybe she shouldn’t have been shitty to a boss.

Someone else agrees, and states that they weren’t going to say anything cause it was the ‘unpopular’ POV.

Here starts the You were attacking “Jane”

Others even agree with “Dick” but they aren’t the one who ends up being the one attacked. He is. Cause hes new.

Meanwhile I’m wondering, since When does a fucking opinion become a ‘personal’ attack?

Some opinions can be constituted as personal attacks. ‘All Jews are liars, in my opinion.’ See what I mean?

I was just pissed off about it in general. It seems I’m seeing more and more of it everyday, and that was an example.
