So, what can I do with these Worldperks points?

When I worked in Aerospace I flew quite regularly with NorthWest Airlines. I now have about 20,000 points leftover - not enought to fly anywhere by themselves and I don’t fly Northwest anymore - mostly Air Canada.
I have alreasy checked with NWA - nothing but flight rewards.

Any thoughts?

I have already checked with Points.com, they don’t trade NWA WorldPerks.

I may just have to bite the bullet and pay to have the balance high enough to fly…

If you are in a giving mood, you can always donate them.

Northwest occasionally has specials where you can use cash plus miles to get a reduced ticket. You don’t need loads of miles to do that–say, 10,000 miles plus $150, that kind of arrangement. I thought they also recently announced a deal where you could do miles for one half of a round trip, and moolah for the way home. That’s essentially the same as a cash + miles deal, I guess.

You could always go for a lot of magazine subsriptions. That seems to be one of the few non flight options offered by NWA.
