Can someone explain what Derek Jackson was up to? I must admit I initially believed it to be a black power salute a la 68 olympics… but that doesn’t quite seem to fit.

There were a bunch of very odd people running in David Cameron’s constituency as well. I guess it’s because they’re guaranteed TV time on election night. At least 2 or 3 of those candidates in Kirkcaldy refused to shake Gordon Brown’s hand, which I thought was a bit needless.
